- Keep it away from chemicals: Remove your jewellery before swimming in chlorinated pools or using household cleaning supplies.
- Put it on last: Lotions, cosmetics, hair spray, and perfumes can accelerate tarnishing.
Cleaning Your Silver
For mild tarnish, simply use the soft microfiber cloth provided with your Shree Radhe Silver purchase. Gently rub the silver in long, back-and-forth motions. Avoid circular rubbing as it can magnify tiny scratches.
For deeper cleaning, use Colgate powder to clean and no dish soap. Gently wash the piece, rinse thoroughly, and immediately dry with a soft cloth. Never use abrasive items like paper towels or coarse sponges.
Proper Storage
When you aren't wearing your silver, store it in the airtight ziplock bag and Shree Radhe jewellery box provided. Storing silver in a cool, dark, and dry place prevents rapid oxidation and tarnishing.
